With GMS support: GT3 talent Finn Gehrsitz takes off in Asia

The young racing driver Finn Gehrsitz is about to reach a new milestone in his career: After successful years in karting and impressive performances in Le Mans prototypes as well as in the ADAC GT Masters, he has now decided to take the next step. Gehrsitz will contest the entire 2024 season in the GT World Challenge Asia. He will tackle the championship with the renowned Ferrari team Absolute Corse.

As a partner from the very beginning, GMS will continue to support him on his way into Asian motorsport. “We are delighted for Finn and congratulate him on this high-caliber commitment. We are sure that he will continue on his successful path in Asia and will stand firmly by his side,” says GMS Managing Director Herbert Weiss.

The partnership underlines the importance of continuity and trust in motorsport and in business. Values that are also of great importance to GMS and Finn Gehrsitz personally: “I would like to thank GMS for their many years of support and am really looking forward to the start of the season. I am confident that I will form a strong combination with the experienced Absolute Racing team and the Ferrari 296 GT3. Although everything is new for me in Asia, I am well prepared to give it my all. I’m sure that I can make a positive contribution to the team’s success and I’m looking forward to putting in a strong performance.”

The motorsport commitment builds another bridge – to the suppliers. Important partners who contribute to the high quality of GMS products are based in Asia. The racing events in countries such as Malaysia, China, Thailand and Japan provide the opportunity to strengthen the connection to the companies that are so important to GMS on site and in a personal environment.

In the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS, Finn Gehrsitz meets a challenging field of participants in one of the top racing series in GT3 sport. The series comprises six events with a total of 12 races on Asia’s best-known race tracks. The season starts on April 20 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
